PODCASTS Listening to programs via mp3 podcasts Home > Podcasts Free audio podcasts are now available for the programs listed below. You have two options:
Click on a program's title for information about that program. You can also find out in more detail how to listen to a podcast. Please read our conditions of use and our disclaimer. How to listen to a podcast When a podcast is available for a particular program, there is a podcast link clearly displayed near the top of that program's summary page (see example). Left-click on the podcast link to listen to (stream) the file immediately using your computer's default audio playback software. Or right-click on the podcast link and choose "Save Target As..." from the menu to copy (download) the program's mp3 audio file to a specific destination on your computer, ready for playback with your choice of audio software, such as Windows Media Player or iTunes, at any time.
(Note: the steps outlined above may vary depending on your operating system and media software). When do program podcasts become available?The audio version of each program is usually available within 24 to 48 hours of the first program broadcast. Podcasts of Foundation programs are provided free of charge. Technical requirementsIn order to hear the program soundtrack you'll need speakers or headphones connected to your computer, as well as mp3 audio playback software such as Windows Media Player or iTunes. You'll also need an internet connection capable of downloading relatively large files (around 20Mb).
