Your bequest is a gift that can make a big difference.
Since 1992, the Rural Health Education Foundation has been providing high-quality free educational services to rural and remote health professionals in Australia. As a not-for-profit deductible gift recipient organisation, the Foundation has been recognised by the Australian Taxation Office as an organisation which can receive your charitable gift.
Whatever the size of your estate, it is important to make your wishes known and have your financial affairs looked after the way you want them to be. Your Will can express to your family and colleagues your feelings about what matters to you most. Without a Will, your estate will be settled according to relevant state or territory laws. Without specific instructions, there may be extra costs and it is possible that your estate may go to the State and not as you would have wished.
A bequest in your Will is an important way of stating your values and can also be a means of recognising the memory of a loved one.
The Rural Health Education Foundation encourages you to check your Will and to make certain that it is regularly updated to reflect your values and wishes.
The Foundation also suggests that you consider including the Foundation in your Will. We include some very simple wording below that makes it easy. If you do include the Foundation in your Will, we would love to hear about it (but that is fully up to you). And please remember that all Bequests and donations are fully tax-deductible.

I GIVE AND BEQUEATH to the RURAL HEALTH EDUCATION FOUNDATION (ABN 68 072 405 139), the sum of ________________________ dollars ($________) AND I DECLARE that the official receipt of the RURAL HEALTH EDUCATION FOUNDATION, shall be a good and sufficient discharge to my Executors/Trustees for any moneys so paid.
