How to Support Us

Home | How to Support Us
Think of giving not as a duty, but as a privilege. - John D. Rockefeller

You can support the mission and activities of the Rural Health Education Foundation through your tax-deductible gift.  Donations of $2 and greater are fully tax-deductible.

Your donation will go directly to enhancing the quality and quantity of the Foundation’s educational programs for rural and remote health professionals as well as for rural and remote communities, supporting the improvement of community health outcomes.  The Foundation provides programs via satellite television, other broadcast television services, webstreaming and webcasting through the Foundation’s website, ”enduring materials” such as DVDs and CDs, and new technologies as they become available and accessible.

For example:

- $3,000 will pay for the installation of a Rural Health Education Foundation satellite site in a remote Indigenous community health service so that the health professionals can access the Foundation’s programs

- $1,500 will pay for the installation of a Rural Health Education Foundation satellite site in a rural location

- $500 will allow us to provide a complete set of health educational resources to an under-funded rural or remote health service

To make a donation to the Foundation, please make out your cheque or money order to “The Rural Health Education Foundation Gift Fund” and send it to:

The Rural Health Education Foundation
PO Box 324

Please include your name, postal address, telephone number and fax & email address (if available), to make it easy for us to contact you.  (We also accept credit card donations, but do not yet have a facility for making online donations; please contact us for details.)

Please feel free to indicate what you would like your gift to be for, such as:

- production and distribution of programs on Indigenous health

- production and distribution of clinical skills programs

- installation or maintenance of satellite sites for health professionals in needy rural communities

- areas of greatest immediate need
