All Rural Health Education Foundation programs available on DVD
December 21, 2007All Rural Health Education Foundation programs are now available on DVD as well as VHS video.
Commenting on the completion of formats, Foundation CEO Don Perlgut said “We have now completed the transfer of all of the Foundation’s backlist of program titles to DVD. This will make them more accessible to the institutional and home users who are generally only accessing programs in DVD format. The DVD format arrived in Australia in 1999, and has been one of the most successful technological innovations in history, with a very rapid take-up. The very low cost of DVD players – and the increasing difficulty in obtaining VHS video playback equipment - means that our programs remain highly accessible.”
“The Foundation has continued to make all programs available in VHS format, as a service to those who are still using VHS video as their primary video play-back format,” Don Perlgut said.
