Foundation launches learning guides for selected programs
October 28, 2007The Rural Health Education Foundation has produced a series of learning guides for selected programs, designed to augment the Foundation’s materials and increase useability of the television programs in a variety of health and medical education and training settings.
Expansion into text-based learning materials
Launching the first of the learning guides, Foundation CEO Don Perlgut highlighted the fact they would provide activities and discussion triggers for health professionals developing their own education sessions around the programs.
“We see this expansion as a natural progression, establishing the Rural Health Education Foundation as a digital publisher of textual material in addition to its traditional role as a distributor of audio-visual content,” Mr Perlgut said.

The first group of programs with PDF learning guides available are:
- 716 - Another Shade of Blue: Depression in Older Australians
