Foundation to exhibit at SARRAH conference in September
July 10, 2006The Rural Health Education Foundation will have an exhibition booth at the 2006 National SARRAH Conference in Albury from Wednesday 13 to Friday 15 September 2006.
This year’s four-day National SARRAH Conference, the seventh to be staged, will take place at the Albury Convention and Performing Arts Centre.
Foundation CEO Don Perlgut has issued an open invitation for conference attendees to visit the Foundation’s booth in Albury. “It’s a great opportunity for us to meet allied health professionals from across rural and remote Australia, discuss the services we currently provide, and gather suggestions for what we could do in the future”, he said.
About the conference
The themes of the conference are:
- Building bridges to future workforce and health services.
- Crossing borders: policy, funding, sectors, jurisdictions.
- Building bridges from student to a supported and valued rural / remote practitioner.
The conference program provides details of keynote speakers, concurrent sessions and workshops.
SARRAH (Services for Australian Rural and Remote Allied Health) is a nationally recognised peak body representing rural and remote allied health professionals.
