Popular program on Rural Emergency Care returns May 24
April 15, 2005The Rural Health Education Foundation has announced that its popular program Critical Decisions in Rural & Remote Emergency Care will be re-broadcast on the Foundation’s satellite network on May 24.
The 90 minute program will air at 8pm Sydney time on Tuesday 24 May, and again at 12.30pm on Friday 27 May.
About the program
Originally broadcast in May 2002, the program focuses on common emergency situations encountered in rural and remote settings, including:
- Road trauma
- Paediatric drowning
- Cardiac emergency
- Envenomation

The panel for the broadcast includes:
