Minister for Health and Ageing to introduce Foundation Heart Disease program

The Hon Tony Abbott MHR, The Minister for Health and Ageing, will introduce the Rural Health Education Foundation’s December 7 broadcast on Women and Coronary Heart Disease.

Although men are almost twice as likely to die from coronary heart disease as women, it was the leading single cause of death of Australian women in 2001.

The Women and Coronary Heart Disease program will increase participants’ awareness of coronary heart disease and its impact on women.

The panel for the broadcast includes::
