Rural Health Education Foundation programs to screen internationally on ABC’s Asia Pacific regional satellite television service

Commencing October 4th, Rural Health Education Foundation programs will commence screening on the Australian Broadcasting Corporation’s television service to the Asia Pacific region. ABC Asia Pacific presents an Australian perspective to the region, including information, knowledge and entertainment programs.

The Foundation series of programs entitled “Talking Health”, which will screen include:

— HIV Risk Assessment and Diagnosis (week of October 4th)
— Hepatitis C: An Update on the Testing and Management (Part 1) (week of October 11th)
— Hepatitis C: An Update on the Testing and Management (Part 2) (week of October 18th)
— Management of Diabetic Retinopathy (week of October 25th)
— Heart Disease: Rehabilitation and Secondary Prevention (week of November 1st)

ABC Asia Pacific TV is broadcast via satellite and can be accessed through in-country service providers or by direct-to-home satellite reception. Countries included in the satellite coverage area are Bangladesh, Brunei, Burma, Cambodia, China, East Timor, Federated States of Micronesia, Fiji, Guam, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Kiribati, Korea, Laos, Malaysia, Marshall Islands, Nauru, New Caledonia, Northern Marianas, Palau, Philippines, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Singapore, Solomon Islands, Taiwan, Thailand, Tonga, Thailand, Tonga, Vanuatu and Vietnam.
